Dear Ohio Assessment Systems User:

The Test Information Distribution Engine (TIDE) will be unavailable Monday, July 24 at 5 p.m. through Tuesday, August 1 at 7 a.m. All Ohio assessment user account passwords will be reset Tuesday, August 1 . You will not be able to access any Ohio assessment system until you have setup a new password. Below is the list of systems that require an Ohio assessment user account to access. Your user role determines which systems you can access and the tasks and data available in each system.


  *   Test Information Distribution Engine (TIDE)
  *   Test Administrator (TA) Interface and TA Practice Site
  *   Centralized Reporting System (CRS)
  *   Teacher Assessment Scoring Center (TASC)
  *   Assessment Systems Inbox
  *   Data Entry Interface (DEI)
  *   Test Administrator Certification Courses
The Department recommends that test coordinators review all users after system roll over to ensure personnel have proper access for the 2023-2024 school year. If a user should no longer have an account, authorized users should follow the process in the TIDE User Guide<http://click.airasthelpdesk.org/?qs=eef66c6dcdfd1232c050e27bdbd9b87fdc0761d17b441cf852c27f8a37d12fad45c5447f351f155d38941869fbd919f4> when TIDE is available on August 1 to remove system access for that user.

After Tuesday, August 1 at 7 a.m., follow the steps below to reset your password for the 2023-2024 school year if your district or school did not delete your 2022-2023 user account. If you do not have an account or if your email address has changed, contact your district or building test coordinator.


  1.  Select the Teachers and Test Administrators user card on the test portal<http://click.airasthelpdesk.org/?qs=f49171d865d06fda636ef8724951e63f332eff77706ee07fd8751502fbf333bfbabc83b9ff2256dcf67a485a00f08951>.
  2.  From the user page<http://click.airasthelpdesk.org/?qs=f49171d865d06fda0854446d3ddd166250f97da45866a8fbc3a865aa2f00d70b9a50f98fededd0d56a73d64dc58fedf8>, select any available systems card.
  3.  On the system login page, click on the link to “Request a new one for this school year.”
  4.  Enter the email address that is associated with your user account and click "Submit."
  5.  An email (from DoNotReply at cambiumassessment.com<mailto:DoNotReply at cambiumassessment.com?subject=TIDE%20Downtime%207%2F24-8%2F1>), which contains a clickable link, will be sent to the email address associated with your account.
  6.  Click on the link. You will be directed to a page where you can create a new password. The link will expire in 15 minutes; if you do not create your new password within 15 minutes you will need to request a new link.
  7.  Follow the on-screen prompts to create a new password.
Note: Upon logging into an available assessment system, an “Enter Code” page will appear. An authentication code will automatically be sent to your email address. You must enter this code into the “Enter Emailed Code” field and select the "Submit" button within 15 minutes of receiving the authentication code email. Throughout the school year, returning users who access TIDE from a new device or browser, or who have cleared the cache on a previously-used browser, will be required to receive an emailed code after entering their usernames and passwords via the secure login prompt.
