Good morning
In the ITC call this morning David clarified some of the Retention reporting for 3rd grade students.


1.       If the student is not being retained and does not have an exemption   (IEP,LEP Alternative test)  report *

2.       If the student does have the exemption go ahead and report the exemption.

3.       If the Parent has decided to retain the student due to the TGRG, report A


ODE will be putting out a Newsflash later this week to clarify the reporting.

I know most of you want to get your retention manifest reported to I thought I would go ahead and send this out.

ODE is very close to opening the Direct Cert Module in ODDEX.
They are starting trainings for the Food Service Directors.

ODE is asking that districts report their SCR.  Without you reporting the SCR, no data will populate in the  module.
I know that it is very early and it could bring a lot of kids in that you don't want in there.  I am just passing on the ODE request.  :)
