Good morning!
We received the following on the Summer PEBT program

Good afternoon!  Ohio's plan for summer PEBT has been approved by the USDA Food and Nutrition Services. There are some changes to the guidance for summer 2023. Those changes include:


  *   Only students eligible for free/reduced meals during the 2022-2023 school year may be submitted. No summer free/reduced submissions will be permitted this year, and no prior year eligibility can be included.
  *   Summer benefits are $120 and will be issued in a single payment in June.
  *   At this time, there is no plan for corrections for summer benefits.  Please encourage districts to carefully review data before submitting.
  *   There is a new template for the summer submission. I have attached it for you to distribute to your districts along with the data dictionary for the template. The first column is new and must include the text "summer" for each record.

The summer PEBT submission window will open May 15 and close on June 9. If you or your districts have any questions, feel free to email pebt-support at ohio-k12.help<mailto:pebt-support at ohio-k12.help>.

Kelly will be stopping the PEBT emails on your last day of school.   If you want Kelly to generate a file please put a ticket in for it or you can copy the students from you last file into the template and add the word summer in the first column.
