[DistrictEmisCoordinators] FTE comparison reports

Good morning
ODE will be pulling funding data from Data Submitted by 5:00 p.m. tonight
They have sent 2 files for districts to look at comparing data from last year to this year.

1st is districts that have a drop in funding by 25% or more
2nd is a list of all districts.

You have till 5:00 tonight to send in updated data.  Please let me know if you have any questions.  I will be logging out at 12:00 for an appointment but I will try and log back in when I get done.

We are also looking at LEAs who are showing significant decreases in their Economic Disadvantagement FTE and their Special Education FTE.  The attached file has year-to-year comparisons for all LEAs on regular, EconD, and SpecEd FTEs on the second tab, in case you want to see how all of your LEAs are doing on this comparison.  But please focus on the first tab.  It shows those LEAs that have a 25% or greater drop, year over year, in 1 or more of these FTEs.

It is clear from the data that some LEAs have submitted data, but have not updated their Disadvantagement data for their students.

It is also clear from the data that some LEAs have not updated and/or submitted IEPs for the new school year.  Note that many students have IEPs that carry over from last year, and we will use those for funding this year if they are still active.  But students whose IEPs have expired may not be funded in the initial payment if an RIEP or NIEP has not been submitted.  And some LEAs may have this data in their SIS, but may not have included the GE Special Education record in their submission.
