Good Afternoon!

With S closing next Wednesday, we would like to have you all check one of your Level 2 reports in the End of the Year Student Collection for FY24.  We  would like for you to check your (GRAD-002) Newly Assigned Grad Cohort report as this is the last time that you will have to make any changes for a student's graduation cohort.

Once you open the file; you will want to put a filter on and first filter on Column W (Add Cohort for Grad Event Code) for FYB9G (Fiscal Year Began 9th Grade)

Once you are showing all of your FYB9G you will then filter on Column T (State Equiv Grade Level Code) and filter for each grade level - for my example I will keep grade 9

Now you should have just 9th grade students showing for FYB9G  - Look at Column P (Cohort Year) and see if they are all 2027

10th grade would be 2026
11th grade would be 2025
12th grade would be 2024

IF the students are not showing the year that matches your grade level you will want to double check to see if they were retained or what is causing the issue.
