EMIS Newsflash

Here's what's inside

  *   System Issues

System Issues
The global outage that impacted certain Microsoft customers has also impacted the State of Ohio systems, including the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce. At this time, we are aware of the following issues.

  *   The Department’s website is currently unavailable.
  *   The report collector and ZIS are both down.
  *   The Secure Data Center (SDC) failed to update overnight. Ignore any data within the SDC at this time.
  *   Even if your local data collector is working, your submission will be held at your ITC until the state EMIS system is working. However, if this outage lasts over 24 hours, your pending submission may be cancelled and you may have to recollect, prepare, and resubmit any submission made during this outage. Any data submitted by 5 p.m. on Thursday has been processed by the Department.
  *   ODDEX is currently available. However, data submitted to the Department yesterday may not yet have been received by ODDEX.
  *   Level 2 processing completed last night, but your ITC's Data Collector may not yet have received all Level 2 report updates from data submitted on Thursday.
  *   The appeals system is currently unavailable to Department staff and may also be unavailable to the field.

Note that there may be issues in addition to those above of which we are not yet aware. Once all systems are back online and reports are up to date, another Newsflash will go out.
