EMIS Data Appeals Renamed

In an effort to align with federal reporting terminology, EMIS Data Appeals are being renamed Districts and Schools Final Correction Opportunity. In the coming weeks and months, Department staff will be updating related webpages and documentation to reflect this name change. As the Department works through this transition, both names may appear on the website and in documentation.

Note that only the name is changing. The process itself will remain the same. If you have questions about this change, please contact dataquality at education.ohio.gov<mailto:dataquality at education.ohio.gov>.


Career-Technical Assurance Guide (CTAG) Credits

Career-Technical Assurance Guide (CTAG) credits should only be reported in the Dual Enrollment Credits Earned (GC110) element in EMIS if the district has confirmed that the credits were transcripted upon enrollment in a postsecondary institution. CTAG credits a student is eligible for, but are not known to have been transcripted, should not be reported as Dual Enrollment credits.
