[DistrictEmisCoordinators] Retention/Promotion Reporting

Good Morning!

I wanted to pass along some information in reference to the Retention/Promotion reporting.  Third grade students who did not score proficient (700) on their 3rd Grade ELA tests are to be reported with a retention reason...

These options are found I the EMIS manual and I have them below as well:

You can find the list of students who did not meet the score by going out to the Secure Data Center (SDC) you can find this under the app Report Portal on your OHID account

Once in the SDC click on Improving At-Risk K-3 Readers; when that opens up click on District Third Grade Reading Guarantee (if you just have one elementary building that houses the 3rd grade students you can click on School Third Grade Reading Guarantee).  Once that opens up just choose the 2024/2025 school year

Then on the bottom of the page click on the Subject to TGRG - SSID Detail Tab shown here:

When that page opens up change the Choose a Promotion Status to Not Met and this will generate a list of SSIDs who did meet the proficiency level and ODEW is expecting to see promotion/retention options listed for them.  You can export this report with the down arrow that I circled..
