FY26 EMIS Changes Open for Public Comment

EMIS changes that are subject to this process must be posted on the website<https://links-1.govdelivery.com/CL0/https:%2F%2Feducation.ohio.gov%2FTopics%2FData%2FEMIS%2FEMIS-Documentation%2FEMIS-Changes%2FFiscal-Year-2026-Changes/1/01000196d8c1b641-b1248b0b-2bdd-4e6b-a5bc-13c0b35e760e-000000/9JQQ0VQSlLbkQFpYeAc-MbBJ1LZ6nL9mt_-dGvuJJxc=405> for 30 days for public comment, 30 days for the Department's response to comments, and then another 30 days for public review before changes are considered “final”.

The public comment period for the following changes closes at the end of the day on June 13. Please see the webpage at the above link for complete details.

  *   26-40  Fine Arts subject code changes
  *   26-67  Creates new detailed attendance record
  *   26-79  Updates financial data formats for CSV collection
  *   26-80  Updates Section 1.2 to allow for CSV files
  *   26-82  Removes CTE college credit element
  *   26-84  Updates language in Section 3.3
  *   26-86  Updates EMIS Manual Section 1.1.1
