FY27 EMIS Changes Open for Public Comment
Ohio Law<https://links-1.govdelivery.com/CL0/https:%2F%2Fcodes.ohio.gov%2Fohio-revised-code%2Fsection-3301.0730/1/0100019dc04058d2-e28e286f-f41a-483f-94b6-2e0555c2ec1d-000000/zCceDnbtylWDAqluJ0Nb6SfWRR2IGXUrWvZ2PlWyyM4=452> requires EMIS to create a process by which users of the system can review and provide public comment on new or updated EMIS Guidelines. EMIS changes that are subject to this process must be posted on the website<https://links-1.govdelivery.com/CL0/https:%2F%2Feducation.ohio.gov%2FTopics%2FData%2FEMIS%2FEMIS-Documentation%2FEMIS-Changes%2FFiscal-Year-2027-Changes/1/0100019dc04058d2-e28e286f-f41a-483f-94b6-2e0555c2ec1d-000000/-C8_8fqu8N0NTLuRP5RzqvzLDxKWtl4s3WhtnpyWmtQ=452> for 30 days for public comment, 30 days for the Department's response to comments, and then another 30 days for public review before changes are considered “final”.
