Good Morning!

Along with some notes from the Fall Conference I wanted to make a couple of comments:


  1.  There is currently an issue with the Data Collector and logging in; MVECA is currently working on resolving this issue and I will let you know once everything is back up and working
  2.  Initial calendar closes on Thursday - if your district has not yet submitted PLEASE do so...... if you do not report an initial calendar your students will be placed on the state calendar and could be hiding issues when it comes to funding, etc...



I wanted to update you all on some of the changes/updates that were discussed at the Fall OEDSA Conference:


  *   Reading Diagnostic Template that is located in the Analytics Hub will be replaced with a new template that will be used for both Reading and Math Diagnostics ...... this update is scheduled to take place late October/Early November when the 26.1 update is released....
  *   Discipline - is now different as you will report every incident and not just the most severe
  *   When discipline crosses school years; in the current school year you will report the start date of last school year's discipline date
  *   District and building tab Reporting

  1.  New options for the reading instruction and curriculum will be updated with the 26.1 release
  2.  There will be academic intervention services added to the tab and these will need to be reported in the Final S Collection (if reporting zero students enter a 0 and do not leave the field blank)
  3.  They will be removing the KG age requirement on the tab
  4.  They will be removing the Diabetes reporting
  5.  They are also removing the PE measures reporting as a bill was passed in July that this no longer needs to be reported
  6.  Score Not Reported Reason (SNR) of L will not be able to be used for the Reading Diagnostic
  7.  KRA scores are no longer able to be used for the Reading Diagnostic
  8.  In the Exiting Student Follow Up collection you will now be able to report college credit that students earned and the college is giving them credit for (CTAG, AP, IB).... David stated that you can report what the student tells you and you do not need to see the transcript.
  9.  There will be a new module in ODDEX coming; the goal is 2028 more to come on this at a later time
