<span style="font-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif;color:#414141">Given the timing of the FY24 Retention/Promotion Collection, we are unable to make updates to the EMIS Manual as Ohio Revised Code requires such changes to go through the 90-day
comment and review process. We are therefore providing this reporting guidance to help districts that are currently reporting this data.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:3.75pt;margin-right:0in;margin-bottom:7.5pt;margin-left:0in">
<span style="font-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif;color:#414141;background:yellow;mso-highlight:yellow">For all grade 3 students, report the option that most closely matches the reason they are being retained or promoted. The following reporting
