<p class="MsoNormal">We are attaching two documents that can be used when working with your Working Missing Assessment Lists - one document lists the valid SNR for each assessment type and the other document is a list of what assessment type can be reported
in each assessment collection.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">We are also attaching the EMIS Updates and Reporting from our webinar today.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">We also want to let you know about an issue with the Majority of Attendance (MOA) for students with a sent to of CE, CI, and NI. The guidance for students with these sent to reasons is correct on page 13 of the EMIS Alliance Training Document
for Where Kids Count. These students should count at the State level. Currently, DASL is putting the building IRN in for students enrolled for FAY. You will need to manually update the MOA to all astericks.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">A refresher on formatting your ACT file:<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Garamond",serif;color:#1F4E79">DASL put out that you need to update columns CR and CS to Change Strnk to StRnk</span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Garamond",serif;color:#1F4E79">Update column AA to say 10,11,or 12 not 10<sup>th</sup> , 11<sup>th</sup> or 12<sup>th</sup></span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Garamond",serif;color:#1F4E79"> What they failed to mention is that once you open the file, some of the formatting changes.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Garamond",serif;color:#1F4E79"> The file not only contains your State ACTs from February, but all other ACT scores taken this school year.
If you have not loaded or hand entered previous scores that is fine.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Garamond",serif;color:#1F4E79">If you have you need to delete the test scores with those dates out of the file or it will load them as
duplicates.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Garamond",serif;color:#1F4E79"> Now to format the file:</span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Garamond",serif;color:#1F4E79"> The test date column AO needs to be mmyyyy. 22024 will not load. You will have to highlight the column
with the test score, right click, format cells and click on custom and put 000000 in the field. That will update that column to report any date for the months of January through September to have a leading 0.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Garamond",serif;color:#1F4E79"> The column for Birthdate, column P, needs to be mmddyyyy just highlight the row and format cells as custom
with 00000000 and it will add all the 0s in.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Garamond",serif;color:#1F4E79;background:yellow">Save the file as a .csv and do not open it again prior to loading.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
