[Link-princ] IMPORTANT* Roster Verification

Good afternoon building Administrators and Principals,

It is time to begin LINK/Roster Verification for the 2013/14 school year.  This process allows teachers to attribute instructional influence on student academic progress and to receive teacher value-added reports. Mark your calendars now for the Roster Verification process timeframe:
School Set-Up Period - March 31-April 15: Principals (and support teams, as desired) gain access to verify the staff list and staff assignments.
Teacher Roster Verification Period - April 16-May 13: Teachers gain access to verify their class rosters and set up attribution for the students they taught, how long they taught them, and the percentage of instruction they provided each student. Principals/support teams should be monitoring teacher completion.
Principal Review and Approval Period - May 14-June 3: Principals review staff attributions and alerts before giving final approval.

As you can see, the School Set-Up Phase begins today.  You may access the LINK application by clicking on the following link and entering your email address and password: https://link.mcoecn.org/core/applicationlogin.aspx. If you do not know your password, just click "Forgot Password?" once you are on the page.

To assist you in the School Setup Process, we have added two Open Lab Sessions to the MVECA Training Calendar:
                Session #1 - April 3rd 9:00am - 12:00pm
                Session #2 - April10th 12:30pm - 3:30pm
If you would like to attend an Open Lab and work with us on your building's setup, just send an email with your name and the session you'll be attending to either Karen Wilson (wilson at mveca.org<mailto:wilson at mveca.org>) or Annette Puckett (puckett at mveca.org<mailto:puckett at mveca.org>) and we'll add you to the list.  We've also attached a copy of both the 2014 Roster Verification Guidelines and FAQ documents as a reference resource.
