Good evening!
Hope everyone had a great Holiday Season!
The following was discussed during the EMIS call today.
FY15
o SDC is open, EMIS Newsflash went out with the release notes.
o Third Grade Reading Collections and the Main Student enrollment manifests along with the Alternate Assessment manifest will close on Friday. ODE's main focus will be updating the manifest so that reporting can be completed for the release of the Third Grade Reading and Prepared for Success data on the LRC scheduled for January 14th.
o There will be updated to the manifests today that will help identify issues if any.
o FTE reports are now updating. The most current reports in the DC are based on Data submitted by 5:00 on January 1, 2016.
? There is a bug in the adjustment report under the FTE reports. If an issue is resolved it is still appearing on the adjustment report. One way to check to make sure that it has been resolved is to look at the Main FTE report and check to see if the adjustment is on there, projected and actual FTE will be equal. ODE is expecting to fix the bug today.
o Missing tests reports will be out today and tomorrow. All manifests that close on Friday should be out today, the rest that close next week will be out tomorrow.
o Fall End of Course manifest and the DORP manifest will be updated when the missing reports come out.
o Updated CTE reports were pulled last night. A new report will be pushed out today. Check the submission number and processing date to see when the last time the data has been pulled.
o CCP access in ODDEX is being worked on, no specific time line on when it will be out.
o Monday January 11th, ODDEX will be updated to reflect the current year when you log in. Your dashboard will reflect FY16 data. The last day for resident districts to flag students will be January 13th. The last day for DOR to remove flags will be January 19th. Then the CS will have time to appeal issues with the Area Coordinators and see if they can be resolved.
o Concern was raised about issues in SOES that have been resolved but the data is not being updated in SOES. Funding is being based on what is submitted to ODE in the manifests, not necessarily what is showing SOES. ODE is working on getting the two to match. If there are flags that should not be there, ODE will remove the flags, in the same instance if there is a flag that should be there and a DOR cannot add the flag ODE will work in that direction too. ODE will work to resolve the issues so that the correct funding goes to the correct entity.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
