[Mail_emis] Update-1-19-2016

Good morning!

We had an EMIS call this morning and I wanted to get you updated on what David said about the testing.


1.      The manifests scheduled to close today WILL close tonight at 11:59 p.m.

2.      The appeals window will open tomorrow for report card issues

3.      The missing list for the Next Gen is out and they expect the EOC to be out shortly

a.       On the 3-8 manifest, if you have students that are showing on the missing report and they are students that took an EOC test,(we are mostly looking at accelerated students) verify  that the test has been reported in the EOC and then you can ignore the missing entry.  ODE is working with OLD vendor files so we have to check these students when they really may not be an issue.

4.      Unexpected results

a.       These reports are again a heads up please check- Based on outdated vendor files that ODE is using.  The main thing with this are if you are reported a result correctly don't worry about the unexpected listing.  Make sure that the results that you are reporting as Other, are being correctly reported.

5.      The emails that were sent to ITCs that we did not get  used a threshold of 20% for the errors.  Apparently all of MVECALAND was under the 20% so we did not get an email and the ticket reply from ODE did not indicate that we could still have multiple errors.

6.      With all the new updated manifests, if you do not make any changes you are NOT required to resubmit your data.

7.      Staff FY16 manifest should be opening in the next week to 10 days

8.      We should see FTE reports in the DC for FY16 later this week-beginning of next week. I would suggest that since these reports are not something that we can go back to, until we see if they are going to be saved in the level 2s, that you save these reports to your computer for comparison.
