[Mail_emis] Save the date - 1 Day EMIS CTE workshop

Good afternoon,



Registration for the 2017 1 Day CTE EMIS Workshop will be open *very soon
(hopefully next week)*.  This will be the 5th year for this workshop,
organized by our "loosely formed committee" of CTE EMIS coordinators, ITC
and CTE ODE staff, and other CTE folks that feel the need for a one day
session all about CTE.



The workshop will be moving back to the more centrally located Tolles
Career Center in Plain City, OH, and will be on Friday, October 20, 2017.
Tolles is not in session that day so there won't be any limitations to the
size crowd we can accommodate (always due to parking in the past).



*NOTE*:  We are in talks with Der Dutchman to provide a lunch that
day...more details to follow.  Here is the address/location of the

The workshop will last from 8:30 AM until 3:30 PM (latest), with
registration prior to 8:30.  More complete details to follow when the
registration opens next week.

·        EMIS CTE updates

·        College Credit Plus

·        Attendance and HB410 as it relates to Career Tech

·        Program Revue and Compliance...what is it and how can we help?

·        Satellite reporting - trials and tribulations (many issues and
topics with this one)

·        WebXam/Assessment - the meat and potatoes of our report cards

·        CTE Report Card updates and Prepared for Success measures.





*PLEASE NOTE:*  These are possible topics and nothing has been set in stone
yet.  If you have suggestions for topics feel free to email us with those,
OR if you are interested in presenting at the one day workshop, we would
love to hear from you!!



So please watch for the official announcement (hopefully) next week, when
registration is available.
