· Assessments

o State Test Results are available to download scores and upload and report them to ODE. ODE would like districts to report as soon as you can. They are planning on opening the SDC next week.

o ODE just received the state wide file of all the assessments. They are working to get it loaded into the Data Collector. Right now the Missing Lists in the EOC and Next Gen manifests are based just on enrollment information. As soon as ODE gets these loaded you will begin to see vendor results on the missing lists. This will most likely increase the number of students currently on your lists. Once loaded ODE will turn their attention to the exception cases. If a student took ALG they will show as missing on the Next Gen Missing. In about 1 to 2 weeks, ODE will have a process in place that will remove the student from the Next Gen missing list if the student took and had a EOC course reported.

o Remember that ODE uses the Special Ed events to see who should be taking alternate assessments.

o At this time the missing lists can be very lengthy. Don't spend too much time trying to determine what is valid and what is not. There are several things that you can be doing till the lists are more accurate.

§ You can at this time, if you have not previously done so, update students that were enrolled during the testing window but left prior to when your district tested the student. An example would be the testing window for ELA was March 26th through April 27th. If a student withdrew on April 4th and your district tested starting April 14th, then the student would show as missing a test result due to enrollment. ODE does not know when each district actually tests so they produce a missing entry for any student that has an enrollment record at any time during the testing window.

§ Make sure that you enter Score not reported reasons for any student that your district knows did not test

§ Enter point values for students that used the AP or CCP courses in lieu of the EOC test.

§ Enter score not reported of F for students that have a medical waiver. ODE will switch it over once they confirm a waiver has been submitted.

§

· Gen Issues Reports.

o ODE is expecting to have Gen Issues reports out this week. They will come out as Level 2 reports. One report for each Check.

o There will be a newsflash when the level 2 reports are out in the DC.

· FT( truancy and excessive absence record)

o ODE will not be doing checks on these records for accuracy this year. If a district does not report the FT at all there could be Gen Issues, or contact with the district from ODE about it.

o These students are not part of any sub group for testing. This is different from the Chronic Absenteeism.
