[Mail_emis] update 6-20-2018

Good evening.
The following was discussed during the ODE EMIS call on Monday June 18th.

There were processing issues last week that have all been corrected and all data has been processed.

More Gen Issues have been released under the level 2 reports.  There will be a separate Gen Issues file for each gen issues check.  They work as they have in the past, if you do not receive a report you are not generating the errors tied to the Gen Issue.  The Gen Issues numbers are the same as they were in prior year.  There are some new  checks.  There is a report explanation out on ODE’s site, but it is not completely updated.  The goal is to generate these more frequently.

ODE is working on the Gen Missing reports for H moving into the DC as level 2 reports

When you correct issues you will not necessarily see the issue disappear the next day after submission.  It will be dependent on the Data Managers at ODE running new reports and pushing them out.

Expenditure Rank Report should be released next week

Tuition in ODDEX has been updated.
                Last year was the first year for doing tuition through ODDEX.  ODE has reexamined the rules pertaining to updates for the Module.
ODE will allow changes to data in the 1st tuition window up through the final student reporting period(3TRD) rather than stopping them in January.  The rule stays in place that you must claim a student by January 15th.  ODE has decided that for students that were in the module by January 15th you will be able to make updates to that student through the end of the Year.  Example- if you change an enrollment date on a student already in the module from October 27 to October 20th.  ODE will make that change in the module.
