[Mail_supt] Important Meeting Announcement

Ohio School Superintendents,

Over the past several months, groups of superintendents have formed across the state to promote a philosophy shift back to local control in Ohio’s Schools. I am writing to invite any superintendent, but especially those attending the upcoming OALSS conference due to convenience, to a luncheon (meal provided) at the Doubletree Hotel, Columbus/Worthington, 175 Hutchinson Ave, Columbus, OH 43235 on January 14, 2016 to discuss the movement and how you might become involved. For groups who have already begun this work, we will discuss how we can become linked in a statewide effort. The meeting will be conducted by Corky O’Callaghan, who has made it his mission to help us regain local control of our schools in Ohio. The meeting will take place immediately following the conference at approximately 11:30 a.m. in the Oaks room. Late participants will be added on a space available basis.
