Dear Superintendent Colleagues,

Our district is having conversations regarding the alternative framework for evaluating teachers in OTES.  If your district is using the "alternative framework" I would greatly appreciate your response to a couple questions:
1-Which of the four measures have you chosen to use? (student surveys, peer-review evaluations, teacher self-evaluations, student portfolios)
2-Has your experience with any of these measures been positive or negative?  Please explain.


3-If you are using one of these components are you using one of the state's approved instruments?  If so, which one(s)?
