Applications will be accepted through May 15 , 2017 for the position of superintendent at Van Wert City Schools. Long-term Superintendent Kenneth D. Amstutz will retire this summer, and the VWCS board of education is working with OSBA's Cheryl W. Ryan to facilitate the search for his replacement. 





Van Wert is an active, dynamic small town with incredible school and community facilities. The district educates 2,100 students, and is comprised of an early childhood center, Van Wert Elementary School, Van Wert Middle School, Van Wert High School and Lifelinks Community School. This progressive district is looking for an instructional leader who will support and advance its work in Project Based Learning (PBL).
