[Mail_supt] E-rate workshop @ MVECA this fall

Good afternoon!

Now that the school year is underway, it's time to start talking about E-Rate.  MVECA is hosting an E-Rate workshop on Wednesday, November 14, 2018.  The workshop will begin at 9:00, with lunch on your own (12:00-1:00).  It will conclude with the Form 470 walkthrough, ending the day at approximately 3:00.

Lorrie Germann, State E-Rate Coordinator on behalf of Ohio Department of Education, will conduct the Fall FY2019 E-Rate Workshop. The day will focus on program basics, upcoming changes to the program, USAC's EPC portal, maximizing Category 2 funding, and the Form 470 application.  Whether you are a newcomer to E-Rate, have filed for many years, or use the service of a consultant, it is recommended you attend in order to understand the program changes and how they will impact you.
