[Mail_supt] Opportunity to Bring Students Back to Your District

Superintendents,

With the likely closure of ECOT, now is the perfect opportunity to bring
students back to your school district.

NOVA is a consortium of 44 school districts that have joined to purchase
online curriculum and provide professional development and support.  Each
district has its own goals, but many have joined to keep students from
leaving the district for online charter schools, credit recovery, to offer
electives that we normally do not have the means to offer in small school
districts, and get good pricing on curriculum.  We have learned by working
together.

The following article gives information on how much your district is
currently losing to ECOT.  By bringing back these students, and those from
other online schools, you have the opportunity to not only give students
choices, but also put that funding back into your district.
