Superintendents,
Good afternoon. The East Central Ohio ESC has space available in the
following year-long live distance learning courses:
*1. Advanced Chemistry* - this will include associated pre-requisites set
by the instructor and is considered a second-year chemistry course
following a year of high school chemistry. Instructed by a
veteran Chemistry instructor, this class will prepare your students for
success in college chemistry classes.
*2.* *Chinese* - all levels - instructed by native speakers, and
available as either a full-year World Language course option, an elective
or expository course, or even an Elementary or MS weekly elective.
Introduce your students to the language spoken by more than 1.7 Billion
people in the world through fully licensed native Chinese speakers.
*3.* *American Sign Language *- there is limited availability remaining
with our American Sign Language courses. Offered as a World Language, and
instructed by fully licensed ASL instructors, students are introduced to
the language used in the Deaf community, and also will learn the culture
and practice associated with the Deaf community.
Please reach out to Michele Carlisle at 330-308-9939 x 8220, or
michele.carlisle at ecoesc.org with questions regarding these opportunities
for your students today!
