We are currently seeking a System Software and Security Administrator.

This candidate will install, update and support enterprise-wide interfacing software solutions as well as provide routine system administration.  In addition to providing routine system administration, the employee will provide information technology security support compliance to existing systems/networks while working closely with the District Network Administrator.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  *   Serve as primary to routine system administration to many enterprise-wide interfacing software solutions for the district managed through the technology department.
  *   Provide information technology security support compliance to existing systems/networks while working closely with the District Network Administrator.
  *   Support cyber security auditing, continuous monitoring and analysis while performing scans of the environment with vulnerability assessment tools.
  *   Ability to conceptualize, evaluate, prioritize, and solve complex problems.
  *   Develop and maintain Security, Risk Assessment and Contingency plans in collaboration with the Network Administrator.

Successful Candidates will possess:


  *   High School diploma
  *   Two years of college or business school preferred (or equivalent training)
  *   Three years of on the job experience or equivalent training, must have experience with OS X and iOS platforms
  *   Working knowledge of networks, specifically Cisco-branded networks, must possess Network+ and Security+ certifications
