*Technology Support Specialist*
*Job Summary: *
Provide efficient and effective installation, diagnosis and repair of Local
Area Network equipment including wireless infrastructures, servers and
systems. Knowledge of cabling, hubs and switches a plus. Experience working
with mobile devices such as but not limited to iPads, tablets, and smart
phones.
Keep the technology supervisor informed about emerging issues.
*Qualifications:*
· Strong technical skills as evidenced by an associate degree
and/or equivalent combination of computer training and work experience.
· Experience in LAN/WAN connectivity and the installation,
maintenance, and repair of computer hardware and software.
· Excellent organizational skills.
· Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in
writing and to interact positively with customers.
· Ability to handle a multitude of responsibilities and duties with
minimal supervision.
· Maintain awareness of organization responsibilities and follow
policies.
· Self-motivated, patient, and have a general desire to develop
skills in a technical realm.
· General knowledge of Microsoft, Apple, Android and Chrome
Operating Systems.

*Responsibilities: *
· Install and support hardware and software applications.
· Assume responsibility for timely troubleshooting basic technical
computer and software issues including network and wireless issues.
· Promote and provide basic training to customers on the proper use
and care of equipment.
· Provide routine maintenance on LAN equipment as needed.
· Work with staff to maintain security of systems through existing
procedures and policies.
· Maintain documentation of problems and solutions to hardware and
software concerns.
· Coordinate with outside vendors any equipment repairs that cannot
be performed in-house and under product warranty.
· Maintain good working relationships with outside vendors and
internal customers.
· Demonstrate ability to work well independently with little or no
guidance.
· Adhere to organization's policies and procedures. Follow proper
channels in seeking answers to problems.
· Frequent travel to customer sites required.
*Position:* Full Time
