Dear Treasurer Slone:

Under the Ohio Open Records Law, §149.43 et seq., I am requesting copies of
the following public records which I believe your school district has in
its custody:

   1. The most recent invoice received by your District for:
      1. Electricity
      2. Natural Gas
      3. Water
   2. The most recent fiscal/calendar year-end trial balance and/or any
   document that details the total annual spend on:  *(please note:
    instead of providing the year-end trial balance and/or any report/document
   that details the total spend on each of the above expense items you can
   reply back with the amounts of each of the items:  electricity, natural gas
   & water.)*
      1. Electricity
      2. Natural Gas
      3. Water
   3. If your district is currently under any Supplier Contract for any of
   the expenses detailed in item no. 1 & 2 above, please kindly provide a copy
   of that Supplier Contract

If there are any fees for these records, please inform me if the cost will
exceed $10.00.  However, I would also like to request a waiver of all fees
in that the disclosure of the requested information is in the public
interest and will contribute significantly to the public’s understanding of
the utilization of energy programs and the expenses associated with such
throughout Ohio’s school districts.  Please note,  this information is not
being sought for commercial purposes.

I would kindly request a prompt response to this request.  If you expect a
significant delay in responding to or in fulfilling this request, please
reply back to this email with information about when I might expect copies
of the requested records.

If you deny any or all of this request, please cite each specific exemption
you feel justifies the refusal to release the information and notify me of
the appeal procedures available to me under the law.

Finally, I respectfully request that all requested documents are sent to me
via email as I trust that capability and technology is available inside of
your school district.

Thank you for very much for considering, compiling and responding to
this request.
