co-chair of the State Software Oversight Board

Good afternoon colleagues,

This email is intended to solicit brief feedback from Treasurers in all
Ohio school districts using State Software. The Ohio Department of
Education has asked the Management Council and OASBO to join the Department
on a new Oversight Board, tasked with oversight of the State Software
Design Team’s efforts to produce a redesign of State Software (USAS/USPS).
The Board consists of regional representation by 10 Treasurers, 5 ITC
Directors, 5 ITC fiscal people, and a few others from OASBO and the
Management Council, along with Ed Weisenbach of ODE.

You feedback on the survey link below will help guide our oversight work
and lead to a more effective state software redesign. If you have any
questions, please feel free to email or call me at your convenience. Please
try to complete this brief survey by November 13. As the committee ramps up
its work, we will seek to keep Treasurers informed of progress through this
listserv.
