[Mail_treas] Audit Report Recommendation

Fellow Treasurer:

Our district's 2014/15 audit report included a recommendation in our
management letter that, for our extracurricular activities and events
(sports and academic oriented), the Board of Education consider a policy
regarding the issuance of complimentary tickets. I presume that what AOS
would like to see addressed in the policy might include who authorizes the
issuance of complimentary tickets, the criteria for their issuance, the
number of such tickets issued and the reporting required upon their
issuance.

If your district has also received such a recommendation and you have
responded to it, can you share the policy you have put in place? I am sure
our Board would appreciate knowing what other districts have done should
they choose to adopt a policy.
