ABOUT THE COMMUNITY AND SCHOOLS:

The Pike-Delta-York Local School District, in Delta, Ohio, is seeking a strong leader to serve as the next district Treasurer/CFO.  The Pike-Delta-York Local School District has recently been awarded the Ohio Department of Education's Momentum Award, has a high performing staff and strong student body excelling in both the classroom and extracurricular activities.

The Pike-Delta-York Local School District is located in the Village of Delta, approximately 25 miles west of Toledo, in Fulton County.  The community is conveniently located in close proximity to the amenities of a city, with a small town feel. The village has numerous large factories and industry continues to grow.

The Pike-Delta-York Local School District consists of three school buildings: Delta Elementary, Delta Middle School, and Delta High School.  The District serves approximately 1322 students with a staff that includes 85 teachers, 60 classified staff members, and 7 administrators. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

The successful candidate must possess dynamic leadership skills; impeccable communication skills (both written and oral) with staff, community members and the Board of Education; excellent organizational skills; great interpersonal skills; the ability to work collaboratively; the ability to apply critical thinking skills; and the ability to multi-task.

Treasurer experience is preferred and/or a background experience in a treasurer's office, but not required.

The candidate must possess a valid treasurer's license or show proof one could be obtained.

The successful candidate will be expected to exhibit character and professionalism that reflects positively on the district.

The successful candidate must have the ability to provide an acceptable BCI/FBI background check.
