[Mail_treas] Warrensville Heights City Schools Seeks Treasurer/CFO

The Ohio Association of School Business Officials (OASBO), in partnership with Finding Leaders, has been engaged to conduct the Treasurer/CFO search for Warrensville Heights City Schools. The Treasurer's position will be open for the 2016-17 school year in the Warrensville Heights City School District, Cuyahoga County.  The following are the minimum and preferred qualifications:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
*                   Bachelor's Degree
*                   Current Ohio public school Treasurer License
*                   Successful experience as a public school Treasurer or Assistant Treasurer
*                   Possess excellent inter-personal and communication skills
*                   Demonstrated record of successful fiscal management
*                   Successful School Board member relationships
*                   Demonstrated record of success as a contributing member of the senior management team
*                   Demonstrated understanding of Ohio school funding
*                   Experience with and understanding of State of Ohio software
*                   Proven ability to work with others - team player
*                   Become involved in the Warrensville Heights community
*                   Have demonstrated commitment to the pursuit of excellence in their previous position

The Treasurer/CFO of Warrensville Heights City Schools is responsible for overseeing the entire financial operations of the organization, the accuracy and timeliness of all state and federal reporting, the development of the annual district operating budget and the Five-Year Forecast. The Treasurer/CFO is an active participant on the senior leadership team and will provide leadership for the district in many areas.

The application deadline is April 15, 2016 with action to employ by May 9, 2016 and the new treasurer assumes duties on or before June 1, 2016 or as soon as possible.
