*CONTRACT: 223 days/year, effective January 1, 2017*

*SALARY RANGE: $52,504 to $64,570*

*QUALIFICATIONS:*

   1. Meet 2015 requirements of USDA/SFA Professional Standards for School
   Nutrition Program Directors.
   2. Experience in food preparation and management.
   3. Ability to work effectively with others.
   4. Ability to communicate ideas and directives clearly and effectively,
   both orally and in writing.
   5. Organizational and problem solving skills.
   6. Skills in use of computer data base, spreadsheets, internet, and
   other software.
   7. Ability to make quick decisions.

 *ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:*

   1. Meet the nutritional needs of our students.
   2. Communicate with staff and parents to promote the school nutrition
   program.
   3. Supervise staff with various job duties and assignments.
   4. Food purchasing tasks via food orders, deliveries, invoices, etc.
   5. Oversee the food preparation for daily menus to ensure safe and
   sanitary practices.
   6. Oversee program regulations relative to the nutritional and financial
   accountability of the school nutrition program.
