In the ever changing landscape of collective bargaining who cannot benefit
from the most current information from the experts? How could proposed
legislative changes to Fair Share Fees impact negotiations? Is there more
than one way to bargain?



The Ohio Association of School Personnel Administrators, in collaboration
with Ennis Britton, will be offering a Winter Camp on Friday, January 20,
2017. The Winter Camp will focus entirely on Collective Bargaining and
Negotiations. It will be open not only to OASPA members but also
superintendents, treasurers and any other administrators who are involved
in the collective bargaining process. For the complete agenda and

The Winter Camp will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton,

John Britton and Bronston McCord from Ennis Britton will discuss Building
on the Basics of Collective Bargaining and Negotiations. Phil Wagner,
Superintendent at Licking Heights, and Todd Griffith, the district's
assistant treasurer, will demonstrate how Licking Heights uses an
interactive Five-Year forecast during negotiations.



After lunch, a panel comprising Bill Deters from Ennis Britton, Dave Varda,
interim CFO/Treasurer at Licking Heights, CFO at META Solutions and former
Executive Director of the Ohio Association of School Business Officials,
Aura Norris, Executive Director of Human Resources and Operations for
Perrysburg Schools and Brian Hamler, Superintendent of Whitehall City
Schools, will deal with the many facets of negotiations and working
effectively with your negotiations team. The panel discussion will be
interactive and ample time will be devoted to questions and answers.



The cost for OASPA members, and attendees from districts which have an
OASPA member, is $150; the cost for non-OASPA members is $250.
