[Mail_treas] indirect cost question

Does anyone apply the indirect cost rate to federal grants?  If so, please
help.

I understand where I should charge the indirect cost to the grant, but what
is the offset transaction in the general fund?  Receipt or reduction of
expenditure?  Is there a specific USAS code for this transaction?
