The District is seeking to fill the Treasurer Assistant / Payroll position
upon the retirement of Anita Rickle, Treasurer Assistant, after 30 years in
the same position with the District.  The Assistant will be responsible for
a broad scope of fiscal duties within the District including, but not
limited to, assisting in the management of the daily activities of the
Treasurer’s Office, bi-weekly payroll, monthly closing, posting and balance
of receipts, health insurance, grants, student activities, inventory and
other duties as assigned by the Treasurer.  This position requires the
strictest of confidentially in all aspects of its operation.



The ideal candidate will be highly detailed and possess the following
qualifications:

Associate Degree or greater in Accounting/ Finance or equivalent experience;

Proficient in USAS, USPS, EIS, Microsoft Excel and Word;

Excellent ability to work across functions;

Ability to work flexibly and with focus, respond to multiple changing
fiscal priorities;

Self-motivated, confident and works cooperatively with staff



Preference will be given to those individuals possessing a degree in
Finance, Accounting or Business; Treasurer’s license, strong computer
skills, payroll experience, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word,
experience with USAS, USPS, EIS; and experience in the field of
governmental accounting or school finance.  This is a full time position
with placement on the salary schedule based upon education and experience.
