[Mail_treas] Paid Maternity Leave

We offer 6 weeks of paid maternity leave, but you must use 6 weeks of sick leave in order to have "paid" time off.   Without the accumulated sick time, they can take 6 weeks off "unpaid."


I don't think our taxpayers would be very happy if we gave employees this type of costly benefit.

Nope.  They can use sick leave, but without it they are able to take the time off.  Period.  Your Supt is generous - he's starting with 6 weeks?
