I would like to thank everyone who replied to my email.  The responses were overwhelming and I appreciate the time each of you took to reply.  Attached in PDF format is a few of the responses I received.  The majority of responses has used and recommends using a Municipal/Financial Advisor during the process of issuing bonds.

As a follow up, does anyone have a RFP/RFQ for a Municipal Advisor?  If so, would you be willing to share the RFP/RFQ?

Hello!  Southwest Licking voters recently approved a bond levy in the amount of $78.3 million dollars.  If you have been involved in the issuance of bond, can you please answer the below questions?  I have been involved in smaller bond issues but nothing of this magnitude.  Any help or advice you can provide would be appreciated.


1.      What method was used to sell these bonds competitive or negotiated?

2.      Did you utilize the services of a municipal advisor and underwriter or did you use just an underwriter?  If you have used a municipal advisor, was their service beneficial to the issuance?

3.      Do you have any suggestions or recommendation on how you achieved the lowest cost of borrowing?
