[Mail_treas] ODJFS and Quarter-End Closing

Hello,

As you all know, we recently held an ODJFS meeting here at MVECA. The meeting was very beneficial to help understand more about ODJFS reporting, benefits, and billings. This prompted us to add a new "Quarter-End Documentation" section to our website. To visit the new section, please click here<http://www.mveca.org/Quarter-EndDocumentation.aspx>. We have also added some new reports to make balancing the ODJFS Report to the Quarter Report easier. The first one is called NOODJFS, it will include any employee who has the ODJFS field marked "N" on the State Deduction record. The second one, ODJFSOTHER, will include any employee who has a stop date in the State Deduction record but is marked with a "Y" in the ODJFS field. We hope these 2 reports will help when you are trying to track down any employees that are missing from the ODJFS report but should not be excluded. (PLEASE NOTE: You will notice in the PowerPoint Presentation given by ODJFS that Board Members (elected officials) and Student Workers should be excluded from the ODJFS Report).

You can get to these reports by typing their name at the Menu prompt or you can go through the menus under USPS/USPS_LCL:

One final note, when you are trying to balance the ODJFS report to the Quarter Report, the ODJFS report does not include NC1 pay types, so you will need to subtract this amount from the Quarter Report totals.
