[Mail_treas] Paid ticket takers for Athletic events

Hi Everyone,

Our district has the need for the first time to utilize paid ticket takers
for athletic events.  We're not sure if they will be District employees or
not.  I'm assuming that they will need Board of Ed approval as all
employees are.

A few questions:

1 - How are they paid? By the game?  By the hour for time spent selling and
reconciling the game sheets?

2 - How much are they paid?  Are we required to pay minimum wage?

3 - Do we need background (BCI/FBI) checks?

4 - Do we need to have them bonded, or will the District's blanket fidelity
coverage be enough?

What are some best practices?
