[Mail_treas] Expedia & tax exemption

We used hotels.com one time. NEVER AGAIN! The hotel marked us as tax exempt
and refunded the money but said its unlikely we would see the exemption
from hotels.com. We got documentation from the hotel and had to fight for
hours with hotels.com to receive the refund for the tax. Hotels.com also
bills you up front for everything which is why we needed the refund for the
already paid taxes.

Moral of the story is that I would try to just work directly with the hotel
and not go through a third party service.
