Treasurer Posting for the Lake and Geauga Educational Service Centers
The Lake and Geauga Educational Service Centers are seeking qualified applicants for the shared position of Treasurer. Candidates must hold a valid Ohio Treasurer’s license. Experience as a Treasurer or financial officer for a business/agency is required. Candidates must have knowledge of fiscal procedures, school finance, financial forecasting and business operations. Candidates are expected to develop and maintain strong relationships with district leaders and staff, communicate with a variety of audiences and exhibit a high level of professionalism and character that reflects positively upon the Educational Service Centers.

Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree
Ohio School Treasurer's License
Successful BCII & FBI background checks
Experience and Abilities:
Knowledge of fiscal procedures, school finance, financial forecasting and business operations.
Appropriate computer accounting skills, including the ability to generate required financial reports.
Leadership and team membership skills.
Knowledge of GAAP accounting.
Experience with CCIP, grants, state and federal programs, and purchasing and other cooperative consortia.
Ability to administer a healthcare plan.
Ability and experience processing payroll and maintaining payroll files.
Experience with contract negotiations.
Ability to develop and nurture ongoing relationships with stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Skills necessary to successfully interact with community members on financial issues.
Character and professionalism that reflects positively upon the school district.
