[Mail_treas] HS Busing Seat Waivers

Hello all,

I hope that you all had a Happy New Year. We are currently looking at how
to consolidate bus routes. The biggest issue we are running into is what do
we do with all of the empty seats that we are holding for high school
students that do not take the bus? Can we get them to sign a waiver to give
up their seat? Do we give them a school credit if they do give up their
seat to incentive them? If they purchase a parking pass can we give up
their seat?

A little background on our district. We are a seven building district (4
elementries, 2 middle and 1 high school) and are triple routed.

Any insight on how to tackle this would be greatly appreciated as we do not
want to cut high school busing completely and would like other
alternatives.
