I was asked to forward this message along because it could be a good event
for Treasurers.



OASPA will be offering a Winter Camp on Friday, January 19, 2018. This camp
follows the October Boot Camp which OASPA offered to new HR administrators.
The Winter Camp will focus entirely on Collective Bargaining and
Negotiations. It will be open not only to OASPA members but also
superintendents, treasurers and any other administrators who are involved
in the collective bargaining process.



The Winter Camp will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton,
Columbus-Worthington. If you plan to arrive the evening before the Winter

Bronston McCord from Ennis Britton will discuss Building on the Basics of
Collective Bargaining and Negotiations.



Scott C. Snyder, CPA*, *Chief Financial Officer for Mayfield City
Schools will present on How Treasurers, Superintendents and HR
Administrators Collaborate and Prepare for Negotiations.



After lunch, a panel comprising Gary Stedronsky  from Ennis Britton, Brian
Hamler, Superintendent, Whitehall City Schools, Aura Norris, Executive
Director of Human Resources and Operations for Perrysburg Schools and Scott
Snyder will deal with the many facets of negotiations and working
effectively with your negotiations team. The panel discussion will be
interactive and ample time will be devoted to questions and answers.



The cost for OASPA members, and attendees from districts which have an
OASPA member, is $150; the cost for non-OASPA members is $250.
