The Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Director of Human Resources. The Director of Human Resources provides leadership in and coordination of human resource operations for over 150 employees located on-site at Mid-Ohio ESC as well as serving in more than 15 client and non-client districts. The Director of Human Resources will effectively plan, design, develop and evaluate human resource related initiatives that support Mid-Ohio ESC's organizational mission, vision and goals.

Requirements:

*           Bachelor's Degree required/Master's degree preferred in Administration or Business Management
*           Ohio certification/license in administration/business administration or Human Resource certification preferred
*           Three to five years of administrative experience
*           Evidence of successful leadership experience in the field of human resources preferred
*           Current on state and federal employment laws
*           Experience as a benefit administrator (Worker's Comp, Unemployment, Insurance benefits) preferred
*           Experience overseeing and creating employment contracts preferred
*           Comply with Affordable Health Care Act reporting regulations
*           Coordinate and manage mandatory staff training
*           Create and review performance evaluations
*           Manage and support employee personnel issues
