Olentangy Local Schools currently has a Treasurer Associate - Payroll position available.  The Treasurer Associate is responsible for administering payroll, deductions and benefits in accordance with administrative contracts, bargaining unit contracts, state and federal laws and district policies.

Applicants are required to attach a current resume and letter of interest within the on-line application.

Qualifications (include but not limited to):

*        High School diploma or equivalent

*        Knowledge of school accounting

*        Ability to organize, prioritize and problem solve

*        Responsible for processing employee information including maintenance of new hires, transfer, resignations, retirements, and leaves

*        FMLA/Leave of Absence tracking

*        Preparation and entering of payroll information into State Software with adherence to federal, state, local regulations and Olentangy district policies

*        Enter information from a variety of sources, including Timeware (time clock/time keeping system), AESOP (substitutes), memo billings, timesheets, miscellaneous items, board members and supplemental jobs into State Software

*        Communicate ideas and directives clearly and effectively both orally and in writing

*        Interact in a positive manner with staff, students, and parents

*        Promote good public relations by personal appearance, attitude, conversation, tact and diplomacy

*        Perform other duties as assigned by the Treasurer


Contract:  260 day contract (includes health benefits, paid holidays, vacation and sick leave)
