New This Year!

   1. Thursday's Business Luncheon has been replaced with Lunch at your own
   pace at the Trade Show in the back of the exhibit hall. You will need
   your name badge to enter.
   2. Product Demonstrations in the Trade Show on Thursday - Add them to
   your schedule on the website!

Volunteers Needed for Annual Workshop!

We have several track session facilitator slots still left to fill and we
need your help! OASBO Members make all the difference when it comes to
pulling off OASBO's largest event. Volunteers are what make everything run
smoothly - we can't do it without you!

Your Name Badge Is Important!

Name badges are being mailed out today! *If you do not receive them by
April 10, please call the office so we can have replacements ready at the
registration desk*. It will be important to keep your name badge on you at
all times. The Wednesday and Thursday night receptions will be at offsite
venues near the Convention Center, and name badges will be required to
enter all OASBO events!

Free Trade Show Pass

Full conference registrants are eligible to receive a free Trade Show pass.
The pass entitles your Transportation Supervisor, Food Service Director, IT
Director or your Facilities/Maintenance Supervisors for free admission to
the Trade Show. Please note that this is not a complimentary registration
and is for admission to the Trade Show only.

Keynote Speakers

A great lineup of keynote speakers is waiting for you at the Workshop! The
First General Session on Wednesday, April 24, features Colonel Arthur J.
Athens (left), who will talk about leadership and change.

Mike Sharb (center) and Ryan Callender, both partners at Squire Patton
Boggs, will present their yearly Legal Update Thursday, April 25, at the
Second General Session.

The Annual Workshop will wrap up on Friday, April 20, with Legislative and
State Budget Updates from Auditor of State Keith Faber (right), Reps.
Robert Cupp and John Patterson, OASBO Legislative Committee Chair Ryan
Pendleton, and OASBO Advocacy Specialist Barbara Shaner.

Annual Workshop Website and App Reminders

The OASBO Annual Workshop Website and App will help you navigate the
conference, create your personalized schedule, and a list of exhibitors you
want to visit with. You will also use them to submit contact hour codes to
receive credit for the sessions you attend and access session handouts.
Here are a few reminders and tips.

   - If you downloaded the OASBO Events app last year, you are ready to go
   this year! There will not be a new app to download year-to-year. If
   you have not downloaded it, you can find it by searching "OASBO" in your
   app store!

   - You can log into the app using your OASBO website credentials. Give us
   a call if you have trouble logging in. (Hint: your username is your full
   email address).

   - The Website and App are directly tied together, so as you add items to
   your agenda on the website it will sync with the app.

   - You will submit contact hour codes on the app or website again this
   year.

   - Presentations and Handouts for the sessions will be available on the
   App and Website as the presenters upload them.
