*Background information*
On March 23, 2018, members of MVSBO voted to start the process of becoming
incorporated at the request of OASBO. This process was completed later in
the year and MVSBO was approved as a corporation.

After the incorporation was completed, the offers were informed by OASBO
that neither OASBO nor its Chapters, as 501(c)(6) Organizations, may accept
donations from third-parties to raffle as door prizes at member meetings.

Joy Kitzmiller has discussed the issue at great length with Mr. Jim Rowan,
Executive Director of OASBO, and has confirmed that we can no longer give
out door prizes.

I hope you see where I am going with this...

This means that we will not be able to pass out all of our great door
prizes at our annual staff appreciation breakfast that is held at the
Wright State University's Nutter Center in May. We have asked everyone to
complete a survey to indicate if they would still like to have the staff
appreciation breakfast even if we can't do door prizes.

We are also interested in finding out if anyone would be interested in
serving as an MVSBO officer for the 2020/2021 school year (or longer).
