Since this occurred very close to our service area, I want to make you all aware of the direct deposit scam coming out of Dayton.  Please see the link below to WHIO.  If your district has experienced this, please contact Callie Wells at OASBO.  Her contact info is below.

Hello Everyone,

A reporter from Dayton Daily News called the office just now with some questions for a follow up to this article: https://www.whio.com/news/crime--law/scam-targets-dps-superintendent-paycheck-diverted-thief/n4fzfwf3tjQLLbsuTkeJMJ/

He's had a few people say other districts have seen similar scam emails targeting districts and he's trying to find out how widespread it is. Have any of you experienced this or heard of anyone experiencing this in their district? Let me know anything you've heard.
