SouthEuclid-Lyndhurst City Schools

 FindingLeaders in partnership with OASBO is assisting the South Euclid-Lyndhurst CitySchools in seeking qualified applicants for the position of treasurer/CFO. ThisCentral Office position reports directly to the Board of Education and isresponsible for all financial matters for the district including but notlimited to the following:

●     Oversee and effectively communicatethe finances of the South Euclid-Lyndhurst City Schools 

●     Collaborate with district leadership

●     State and federal reporting

●     Promotion of student learning andachievement

●     Fiscal leader and manager

●     Develop the Five-Year Forecast andthe annual budget

●     Participates in shared district leadership

●     Utilizes data-based decision-making

●     Engage technology to aid in districtinnovation

 Thesuccessful candidate must have a thorough understanding of the State of Ohiostandards and system of accountability. This leader will have opportunities toparticipate in collaborative decision making focusing on improving studentperformance leading to academic excellence.

 SouthEuclid-Lyndhurst City Schools offers a competitive salary and fringe benefitpackage. Candidates must be available to begin employment as soon as possiblebut not later than early September, 2019. 

 Approximate Timeline:The application deadline: June 21, Interview schedule: July-Aug, Action toemploy: By August, Begin employment: Early September, 2019.

 Qualifications:

●     At least a Bachelor’s Degree orhigher with specific emphasis in accounting, finance and management of districtfinances

●     Appropriate Ohio Treasurer’sCertificate/License 

●     Successful treasurer experience

●     Knowledge of state, local fundingand Ohio laws and regulations

●     Strong interpersonal and  leadership skills and demonstrated ability towork cooperatively as a member of an administrative team

●     Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills

●     Ability to create and maintain anatmosphere of respect and trust

●     Experience with a constructionproject is preferred but not required
